LEVEL 1 “Understanding your own culture and others”
The workshops are for expats, managers, specialists working in Poland who have just started – as introduction course or for those who are working for longer and experiencing communication and cultural barriers.
The goal of the workshop is to raise the cultural awareness, to gain knowledge how to behave in multi-cultural environment.
The workshop’s program is tailored made to the individual needs of participants – with regards of their national and organisational culture.
Deliverables:
- Getting knowledge of different culture orientations and pattern
- Learn to recognise and acknowledge them
- Mapping of own culture profile
- Mapping of the Polish culture profile
- Guidelines of cross-culture communication
- Working out your own personal way of communication across the cultures
Outcome
- Higher level of cultural sensitivity
- Efficiency in cross-culture communication
Workshops are held in English or Polish.
As option individual session of counselling and coaching are offered as follow up programs
LEVEL 2 “Management in different national and organizational culture”
Workshops for expats who have been already working in Poland for some time and who want to excel their cultural competences with more insight how to cope with differences in organisational culture of host country or for managers who start their carrier in Poland in a company of different organisational culture.
Deliverables:
- Working out by the participants their Cultural profile and that of the host’ country
- Finding out the differences in organisational cultures they come from and they are currently working
- Recognizing the culturally sensitive areas where problems have occurred or may occur
- Working out the resolution of the problems
- Working out strategy of management and communication adopted to the needs of organisation and working environment with respect of the cultural differences
Outcome
- Higher level of cultural intelligence
- Skills to manage in different cultural environment
- Better quality of work and life
Workshops are held in English.
As option individual session of counselling and coaching are offered as follow up program.
Workshops are designed for Polish people – managers working in Poland for international organisation or abroad or with international partners.
The goal of the workshop is to get the cultural awareness and to acquire skills to work in international environment and communicate in multi-cultural teams.
The workshop’s programs are tailored made to the individual needs of participants – with regards of their national cultural orientation and culture orientation of host’ country.
Workshops are held in English or in Polish.
Deliverables:
- Mapping of the organisational culture in which the person is working
- Mapping of the Polish culture characteristic and orientation
- Finding out the differences that have influence on efficiency
- Working out the attitude of acceptance of cultural differences
- Working out the way of communication across the cultures
- Working out the way of people management with respect of the cultural differences
Outcome
- Higher level of cultural intelligence
- Better quality of work and life
As option individual session of mentoring and coaching are offered as follow up program.
Workshops for multi-cultural teams
Workshop is recommended when a new person from different culture joins the team.
LEVEL 1 “Integration of new foreign team member into the team”
The goal of the workshop is to gain the awareness of cultural differences, acquire acceptance for them and build on them for cooperation.
Deliverables:
- Mapping of the organisational culture of newcomers
- Mapping of the Polish cultural orientations
- Finding out the differences that can have influence on efficiency
- Working out the attitude of acceptance of cultural differences
- Working out the way of communication across the cultures
- Working out the way of cooperation.
Outcome
- Higher level of cultural sensitivity
- Integration of new member into team
LEVEL 2 “Facilitation of cooperation in multi-cultural team“
The goal of the workshop is to resolve existing problems of the multicultural team through gaining the awareness of cultural differences, acquire acceptance and respect for them as well as working out of the team culture of cooperation.
Deliverables:
- Mapping of the organisational culture of member of the team – Polish and others
- Spotting the difficulties in team work which occur
- Finding out the reasons for the situation
- Finding the roots of the reason – cultural difference or communication barriers?
- Working out the attitude of acceptance of cultural differences
- Working out the way of communication across the cultures
- Working out the team’s high performance code.
Outcome
- Higher level of cultural sensitivity
- Higher team’ performance
